You are invited join a dynamic group of people who help shape lifeAssist
Influence the decisions made about the service you receive through lifeAssist. We are seeking nominations from clients to join the Client Committee.
What is the Client Committee?
The Client Committee is made up of lifeAssist clients and performs a vital role in providing direct, ongoing feedback about the experience of the people lifeAssist supports. You can help shape the future direction of lifeAssist services.
What does being on the committee require?
The Client Committee meets once every two months and organises various activities that brings clients together to learn about changes being introduced by government and to provide feedback to lifeAssist about services received.
Members of the Client Committee volunteer their time. However, lifeAssist meets the transport and care costs that you may incur. For example, if you care for your partner and need a carer to be with your partner to enable you to attend the Client Committee, then lifeAssist will meet that cost. These costs will not be charged to your package.
Who can apply to join the committee?
- You are a client of lifeAssist, either as a person who receives direct care,
- or as a family member who cares for someone in their family
- You have ideas about how services can be improved
- You enjoy working with others
