On December 3 linkAssist went live!

With a prime position on the corner of Moorabool and Little Malop Streets in Geelong, the sun was shining on our event celebrating the 'turn on' of linkAssist, an online community noticeboard for people with disability, their carers and the community.
Giant orange balloons and a pair of living statues attracted a lot public interest with people cueing up to take 'selfies' with the statues as linkAssist launched.
Having generously agreed to 'turn on' linkAssist for us, Hayden & Milly from the BAY-fm Breakfast Show had already become fans of linkAssist.
Roxanne Bennett (Geelong radio personality and friend of lifeAssist) gave an impromptu interview about linkAssist LIVE on bayFM radio. See photos from yesterdays launch and the interview with Roxie on the bayFM website.
The young lady in the wheelchair, Simone Stevens, was also at Kardinia Park on the 13th. She's been telling everyone about linkAssist. She was one of the Human Books from the City of Geelong Human Library display.
The Geelong Advertiser sent along a photographer to cover our event, and we featured in the Geelong Advertiser.
Inside Market Square shopping centre, at the City of Greater Geelong's Human Library launch, linkAssist promotional materials were incredibly popular, ensuring a steady flow of interest to linkAssist just outside.-December 2015
